South Portland Project Scholarship (SPPS) is committed to providing financial assistance for post-secondary education to South Portland High School graduates. By raising endowment funds, we can provide scholarships that help students for years to come.

An impressive 85% of the 2007 graduates of South Portland High School plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution. Each young adult will need a good work ethic, organizational skills, persistence, passion and financial resources to succeed.

Next to academics, financial difficulty is the biggest reason a student does not complete a degree program. SPPS was formed to provide funds for every graduate of South Portland High School. Our community’s businesses and individuals contribute funds that make a strong statement to our graduates about our faith and hopes for their futures.
